???? Mutilated Strat
Serial Number - Unknown

Bought for 80 pounds at an auction in England back in the mid 1990's, this guitar was originally a Black Japanese Squire Stratocaster. It was used for years as my slide guitar in the band OFF THE WALL. Over the years it was abused and robbed of parts. The neck is now in "Bluey 2" and much later it was replaced wiith a spare old Squire Bullet Strat neck. The body was stripped back to bare wood where we found it was at least a 15 piece ply ( Not so sure the body was really from a Jap Squire now ) and sprayed a transparent blue. The finish didn't take very well and the the tremolo mounting area has a split. The rest of the hardware is original ( ie YUK ! ). The guitar was recently re-assembled and is fully playable.
